Created in 2010, this film started as a test shoot for our new Canon 5D DSLR. Just Simon, a slider he made out of aluminium, sliding door wheels and plywood, and the 5D. We created the film to illustrate how beautiful photography, a great character and strong story telling create compelling content. To our surprise it went on to be selected as the feature film on philipbloom.net. It has had over 80,000 views and still receives a lot of interest. Although our production values have improved considerably, the essence of what we do hasn't changed. Great story telling and beautiful images. We think Guitar Man is a lovely film and still holds up well today.
